News Building starts for 3 new Ice class RoRo barges for Silverburn!

This week steel cutting for our new pontoons started!

These are RORO-barges of 8916 project:

  • Length 89m
  • Breadth 16,5 m
  • Depth 4,5m

with buoyancy casings on deck to allow driving SPTMs in between. Each barge has cargo carrying capacity 3000. Pontoons shall be built to Ice Class IC notation.

This new series of barges are being delivered by our long-standing & reliable Shipbuilder DAMEN SHIPYARDS.
